- Questel acquires innosabi Press-Release
Questel acquires majority stake in innosabi
Questel announces the acquisition of the majority stake of innosabi GmbH, an Innovation Management platform based in Munich, Germany, with 55 employees. innosabi provides a single software solution to develop and market innovations faster.
innosabi helps companies establish a new culture of innovation that motivates employees, connects the know-how and helps make informed decisions by using intelligent analysis mechanisms in the selection and prioritization of ideas.
“We are very excited about this new chapter in the history of innosabi. Not only because the global footprint of Questel will help us to reach new markets and audiences. But also because the combination of Questel’s data sources and IP management products with our innovation tools opens up tremendous opportunities for new use cases and innovative features that can set a new standard for the way companies do innovation and IP.” said Catharina van Delden, CEO at innosabi.
Questel has built a true end-to-end integrated platform of software and services addressing all the Intellectual Property needs. Beyond IP, 3 acquisitions in the innovation space, among the 11 acquisitions closed by the Questel group since 2018, position Questel as the major build-up project of this industry.
The rational behind this acquisition is to consolidate a European leadership in innovation management and to build a solid platform for international growth. The integration of innosabi software into Questel catalog creates an end-to-end integrated offer also in the innovation management market.
“innosabi has the perfect fit with Questel strategy to take a significant market share in Germany, the major Innovation market in Europe, after reaching a leading position in France where Questel has acquired Expernova in 2018 and Yoomap in 2019.” said Charles Besson, CEO at Questel.
Clipperton served as the financial advisor to innosabi on this transaction.
