USPTO Document Import for Patents and Trademarks

Equinox integrates with the USPTO to allow all publicly available documents for patents and trademarks to be viewed and saved as case documents.

From within a case, a user can use the 'Import from USPTO' option on the documents tab, which will display a list of all documents retrieved from the USPTO. The user can preview each document, assign a folder, and select which documents should be imported. When imported, documents are stored on Equinox and visible in the case documents tab.

Users can also import documents at the same time as importing a US case through our existing PTO Import tool. This allows a US case to be imported, along with all available documents, in just a couple of clicks - using just an application number or mark name.
