Removing Languages from Filing Jurisdictions
When selecting jurisdictions in the portal, you will now see countries without languages next to them.
About
When selecting jurisdictions in the portal, you will now see countries without languages next to them. A default filing language for the selected jurisdiction will be used if translation is needed. If a jurisdiction accepts a secondary filing language, and this language matches the source, the secondary option will be used instead, ensuring translation cost savings.
This update applies to all workflows, except for Translation – Other. As this workflow is intended for non-patent IP work, it may still be important to select the preferred translation language.
