First Filing Projects and Estimates with no Requirement to Add Priority

The Paris Convention projects and estimates in the Services Portal have been renamed to Direct Filing. The functionality remains similar, with an extra option to proceed without entering any priority data.

You will notice a new This Application Claims Priority checkbox, which is enabled by default. While it’s enabled, the following fields are required:

• Priority Application Number
• Priority Country
• Priority Application Filing Date
• Filing Deadline (in projects only)

If you disable the option to claim priority, the fields listed above will be hidden. You can then proceed to create an estimate or submit a project without priority data. The Requested Deadline field becomes required in this case, to ensure our teams complete the project within your preferred timeframe.
