- Performance improvement expected this weekend with Cloudflare
Performance improvement expected this weekend with Cloudflare
We are pleased to announce the implementation of the Cloudflare service for the Orbit Intelligence application as of this Sunday, August 18, 2024.
Cloudflare is a service offering “proxy” servers distributed around the world. These servers can be preloaded with our data so that users can access it more quickly. In addition, this geographical proximity means reduced latency, and therefore better application responsiveness.
We therefore expect to see a significant improvement in our quality of service from the furthest reaches of France: the East Coast of the USA and Japan in particular. Connection times and system responsiveness should be significantly improved. This improvement requires no change for users.
Certain security aspects are also enhanced by this service.
Please note that for the time being, this service does not cover our customers in China, where a special infrastructure has been set up.
Have a good summer
