Orbit Intelligence Update W41 - 2024

We changed the way results are displayed when importing patents numbers through a file in the number search.

From now on, the results will be displayed in the hitlist in the order they are imported, i.e. in the order they are in the file.

This feature is limited to 1,000 numbers: beyond that, the default sorting is applied.

Please note that only the number search through file import enables this feature: the default sorting is applied when using the classic input "by hand" on the number search page.

(depending on your FAMPAT display settings, the displayed number in the hitlist may differ from the imported number, because the representative member number is displayed by default)

We continue to gradually improve the search history with the latest release.

We moved the Previous history page to make it accessible only through the Search history page for better consistency.

We refactored the columns to optimize the width of the Query column for better readability, notably on smaller screens.

Other improvements are planned for the search history in the coming months.

We are expanding the geographic coverage of our South Asian collection with the addition of two new countries, Bangladesh and Pakistan. Patent documents added from these countries have been filed between 2005 and 2024.
