- -View by invoice (not only by “Cost line”).
- -Associate custom fields with your invoices.
The ability to list by invoice and to add custom fields offer several advantages such as:
- -Improved invoices tracking: Champs personnalisés can be tailored to capture specific information that is relevant, such as project numbers, supplier ID or invoice status.
- -Enhanced efficiency: Custom fields can be used to categorize your invoices and allocate costs to your business units.
- -Improved reports: View by “invoices” helps manage invoices by enabling users to sort, filter, and search invoices based on specific criteria.
Here are some examples of how you can use this improvement:
- -To have a follow-up of the payment status of your invoices: add a "Status" field with "Choix unique" type and with these predefined values: "Pending", "In Process", "Validated", "Pending Payment", "Paid", "Annulerled" and "In dispute".
- -Evaluate costs according to their nature (for example: official fee VS service fee): Add two custom fields, type "Numéro", named “Official fee” and “Service fee”.
- -Allow access to the original document: if the invoice is stored on a third-party document management system, add a custom field type "URL" to be able to add a hyperlink to the invoice’s PDF.
Discover this new feature by clicking on the "Budget" tab and then on the "Invoices" tab.
Administrators can add new custom fields associated to invoices by clicking on "Admin" then "Custom fields": simply add a new field and select the "Invoices" type.
